Is there someone you’ve been thinking about but haven’t reached out to?
We’ve been taught to be logical, to think logically, make decisions from logic. But when we stay in our heads, it doesn’t change or shift anything.
The holidays can heighten our feelings of aloneness. The images of gatherings only exacerbate the perception of the “perfect” life we’re not living.
Well, perfection doesn’t exist. We humans are messy and beautiful all at the same time.
Most people don’t care about your messes. They care about what’s in your heart.
Maybe it’s time to consummate your thoughts, and reach out.
Your invitation for this week, if you so choose, is to ask yourself each morning, “who would like to hear from me today?” Then, listen for the answer.
Then act on it via a note or a phone call and say, “Hi, I was thinking of you! How are you?”
This simple act of letting someone know you’re thinking of them may bring the exact light into their day they needed.
The beautiful thing is that the light shines right back to you. As does the energy.
The gift of ourselves is the greatest gift we can give, connecting us on many levels beyond the logical mind, deeper into our hearts.
Who hasn’t heard from you in a while?
Be the connection, and light up someone’s day.
